The Special Education and Rehabilitation Center renders educational and rehabilitation services, to the individuals developing differently and whom medical diagnoses have been decided upon, at world standards (please see the Basic Health and Preventive Medicine Unit) by identifying, after applying various tests and criteria, the difference between the calendar age and developmental age, in the direction of the Individualized Educational Program (IEP), which have been prepared for each individual separately. Each individual is placed into a program seen appropriate to the individual from the programs existing within the structure of the Individualized Education and Rehabilitation Unit. Through the periodical evaluations (Family Counseling Unit, Health and Preventive Medicine Unit, Special Education and Rehabilitation Services Unit) the program of the individuals developing differently has been renewed. Also, in order that an individual developing differently passes the period with the family efficiently, he/she is supported by our institution during the processes of Family, Family Education, Family Counseling programs and the other programs are supported by our institution. For all the programs the target has been diagrammatically shown below:

• To set the individual developing differently or disadvantageously in the center of the triangle shown above and to procure functioning of all the dynamics in coordination and directing the development of the individual growing up differently.   

• To ensure the services of  Special Education School and Rehabilitation Center rendered in an integral manner with the Basic Health and Preventive Medicine Unit, Family Counseling Unit and Special Education and Rehabilitation Services Unit.
